I had similar experience after Thoracic Outlet Syndrome surgery in Toledo, Ohio. I was losing oxygen due to the opioids. I could not get any sleep due to the beeping. I later found out that the natural equivalent called Kratom does not affect your ability to breathe but provides similar pain relief. You also don’t get sleepy on certain varieties of Kratom. Sadly, you can’t patent something natural so it will never become a prescription drug. Most states are banning the substance as well. It would be nice if the government would have a way to control natural drugs and monitor the safety of them, but maybe in 100 years that will happen. I don’t even think they are monitoring Marijuana safety, besides all the money it brings into the state.
