Eagle syndrome

@madhavshrma - Did you ask Dr. Kamran to look at your hyoid bone & tell him it appears the greater horn on the left is pressing on your carotid arteries there? That is what we think may be your problem. Did you ask him if he does any surgeries on the hyoid bone? If so, what did he tell you?

I will ask..They just seen my styloid area. This is the photo they sent..i don’t think so they seen my scan properly by measuring vessels diameter just said no jugular vein compression.

If he had your full CT scan then he could have also seen your hyoid bone. He likely picked out this picture to show there is no jugular vein compression caused by your styloids because he typically does ES surgeries w/ jugular vein compression.

He probably didn’t think to look at your hyoid to see potential compression it could be causing. If you can talk to him again, please press him to look at the greater horns of your hyoid bone & let him know you think the left one is pressing into your carotids at the bifurcation.

Also i sent my scan to dr bargiel in poland..he said your styloids are close to normal…what is close to normal in human body…it can be only normal or abnormal…i didn’t like his answer

I’m sorry that Dr Kamran didn’t see any vascular compression which would perhaps be an answer to the dizziness… It might be worth looking up vestibular rehab exercises online and trying those in case it’s nerve related, if you haven’t tried this already?

Anyone know any doctor who can see my scans and diagnose my problem…pls help i lost 3 years already…i will email my complete scan. Here in India doctors failed to even diagnose problem.

@madhavshrma - These are the 3 doctors we know of in the US who do hyoid bone surgeries. You can contact any of them to ask about sending in your scans for a diagnosis. Just make sure to let them know you live outside of the country so coming for an in person appointment isn’t possible. Dr. Cognetti does telehealth consults without a charge for the initial consultation so he might be a good place to start. He is booking appointments in January or February next year for ES now so it may be that long of a wait for a hyoid bone consult, too.

•Dr. Karuna Dewan, Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport - Academic Medical Center - Specializes in Hyoid Bone Syndrome surgeries
1541 Kings Hwy, Shreveport, Louisiana, 1-318-626-0050
Karuna Dewan, MD | Ochsner LSU Health

•Dr. David Cognetti, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia 215- 955- 6760 (Has done many successful surgeries on members). Only removes ligaments if calcified. David M Cognetti MD | Jefferson Health Does do online or phone consults.

•Dr Coniglio, Rochester, John U. Coniglio, MD | Rochester Regional Health does hyoid bone surgery

Another alternative is a consultation online with Kjetil Larsen at MSK Neurology:
Home - MSK Neurology
He’s training as a doctor now, he’s reviewed lots of members’ scans & does spot things other radiologists miss… it might give you a better picture of which direction to go in & the best doctor to see next?

@madhavshrma -
I found this research article online. If you click on the link, you’ll see at the top of the article the authors are 5 doctors (Singh, Priya, Bhagol, Thirti & Thepra who all live and work in your country. I realize their location may not be close to you, but perhaps you can contact one or more of them to see if there is someone nearer to you who can help you.

The authors of this article are all from the Department of Oral and Maxollofacial Surgery, PGIDS, Rohtak, Haryana, India.

I’m sorry but I don’t know much about nootropic drugs so can’t suggest any to you.

I hope this information helps you.

Left ICA And ECA Forming Sinus…this is abnormal na can affect cerebral blood flow…. potentially can cause symptoms like brain fog?

Anyone know any guy who is radiology expert…so that i can share my scan…pls share his email id

I’ve not seen that before, to be honest I don’t know if that would cause brain fog or not… A head and neck vascular surgeon would be a good place to start in your area :worried:
