I think @KoolDude already sent a lot of info about compressed ECA symptoms, but here is a “tabloid” type of article with symptoms caused by temporal artery insufficiency.

> **[Temporal Arteritis: Symptoms, Treatments, and Causes](https://www.healthline.com/health/temporal-arteritis#symptoms)**
>
> Temporal arteritis occurs when the temporal arteries, which supply blood to the head and brain, become inflamed or damaged.

Temporal artery is branching off the ECA, so if the styloid process(es) affect(s) the ECA(s) (external carotid artery), it can reduce blood supply to the temporal artery(IES) mimicking the temporal arteritis.

Here is a bit more reputable article about the same condition

> **[Temporal Arteritis: Treatment, Symptoms & Diagnosis](https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/15674-temporal-arteritis)**
>
> Learn about the form of vasculitis called temporal arteritis from Cleveland Clinic. Read more about symptoms, causes, a new drug treatment, and diagnosis.
