@Isaiah_40_31 I haven’t asked her , but no it’s not painful at all sometimes it’s kinda sore and that’s it.
No they haven’t taken any scrapes from it just a swab to test for bacteria or viruses also every time I get to go see a doctor for it , it already disappears it could be there for 3 days then disappears then show up in a different side . So the doctor doesn’t get the chance to see it. I’ll see with the dentist today if they could take a scrape
Thanks @TML for posting this article and the fact it has been written by Mr Axon. I have suffered gastroparesis for quite a few years, with no GP being able to understand the reason behind it. As you know I have IJV compression, so another thing to discuss at my appointment with Mr Axons team later this month.
Morning @OMM9420 thank you, its a long journey isn’t it.
Maybe look into a condition called “geographic tongue” I believe it’s benign, but there are various causes, I think vitamin B12 deficiency can be one. I am not medically trained but this maybe something to ask your doctor about.
I still think they’re probably be caused by acid reflux (perhaps “silent” reflux that coats your mouth, particularly the tongue, white).
The only other thing I could think of is something contractable like secondary syphilis in the mouth, or something similar that you could have caught in the dating world? I don’t much about that though, and you’d think doctors would’ve suspected something like that and swabbed your mouth.
Syphilis is negative in 3 tests swab and 2 blood test I tested 3 times now and the doctor told me don’t think of it again because it’s negative and you don’t have it. @TML
I did one swab test , one antibody and one more detailed to show any current infection all negative.
Now I got back HSV ( herpes ) it shows that I had previous positive but not anymore , the thing is I tested negative for HSV 1 and 2 in previous pcr test at clinic I go too so I really don’t trust the positive result , plus the doctor says the herpes is more like blisters and not last for 3 month I really don’t think I got HSV , I’m going to another clinic to do HSV 1 and 2
Yeah hsv typically presents as cold sores on the lips. I get cold sores from time to time. Canker sores are different for sure. Hopefully you can get those styloids out and see what happens
@OMM9420 - When I’ve had canker sores in my mouth, I’ve treated them w/ hydrogen peroxide. I pour some peroxide in a little blow & dip a QTip in it & dab it on the sore several times. It gets white & foamy but has been very helpful in helping those heal up quickly. There are mouthwashes such as Peroxyl made my Colgate that have peroxide in them. Perhaps something like that could be helpful, too.
Sometimes I do direct salt and it is VERY painful, and not really sure if it’s the “safe” or “best” way to go about it, but it works lol. Probably the better (and less painful) way is to add salt to a glass of water and swirl until fully mixed and then rinse your mouth with it
The thing is it keeps changing places, so one day it could be on the right side and after 2 or 3 days it heals and gone then appears on left side then 2 or 3 days and it heals and gone keeps moving from left to right sometimes middle .
50-80% of people (at least in the US) have oral herpes so it wouldn’t have been that bad if that were the case, but yeah oral herpes would more so present as lip blisters rather than the canker sores in the mouth. Hopefully you can get to the bottom of it!!
I’ve been taking flagyl antibiotics for 2 weeks and the ulcers completely disappeared but it appeared again yesterday night and woke up at 2am seen it’s getting bigger also I get body aches, joints and neck stiffness, I thought for a while it might be meningitis but I don’t think it is.
I’m very stressed now , don’t know what I might have . I used google AI search and it’s pretty accurate about many things , it says it’s probably a bacterial infection that’s why it goes away for a while from flagyl and doxycycline but it comes back again because it’s not right antibiotics it also said there could be a risk from surgery the infection might spread to the wound etc now I don’t know if I should tell Mr Hughes that I keep getting these ulcers or not and pretty worried from surgery .
Google Ai recommended to see an infectious disease specialist and immunologist or rheumatologist. I’m thinking of seeing both .
@OMM9420 interesting. I think you would’ve croaked by now if it was meningitis so I’m fairly certain it’s not that. If it’s system wide muscle stiffness, I would think maybe stress, or some connective tissue disorder. If it’s bacteria related it could be like reactive arthritis or something. But NAD. The canker sores are a pretty distinct symptom you’re having which doesn’t really align with anything that I’m aware of, besides vagus. But if antibiotics truly help than it’s not vagus, unless the pills are altering your stomach acid levels and acid reflux. Hope you can get to the bottom of it
