I would be wary of stenting, Mr Axon forewarned me about it although I was lucky in the end & the surgery fixed the symptoms well enough. Worth reading this paper about stenting, there are risks & it’s not always successful:

It’s not that long since your surgery in the scheme of things, so I wouldn’t rush into anything yet, privately anyway, I guess no harm in trying to get a referral to Mr Higgins on the Nhs…
I can’t remember if you had bilateral ES? It could also be that the other side is causing issues still?
