If you have Nutcracker Syndrome (NCS) which your left kidney trouble could be pointing to, that can be treated w/o a nephrectomy. There are a couple of different surgeries that are being done to help alleviate the symptoms for NCS. Have you looked into TOS, May Thurner Syndromes (MTS), & Median Arcuate Ligament Syndrome (MALS)? With all you’ve got going on, it sounds like you may have more than just the IJV compression & NCS.

I’m really glad you’ve got the CTA/CTV scheduled on Wed. I will be praying those clearly show the vascular situation in your neck. Keep hanging on! You’ve made it this far even w/ the excruciating pain you’ve suffered for so long. Reach just a little farther. Help may be closer than you think! :hugs:

Inwas diagnosed with mals, possoble nutcracker. And tos back in 2011. Wendy, I am so sorry to be this way, but there is just way to much wrong. I have no medications not treatments nothing. I am honestly near the end.

Individually the things you have don’t typically cause death, however, I can imagine the pain & symptoms of all of them occurring at once is overwhelming. I continue to pray for God to strengthen & encourage you, @harrisonboy.
