So, I saw the Trigeminal Neuralgia specialist here in Denver last week, and he definitely ruled out TN. Which made me happy. So we are back to Eagle as the most likely diagnosis. And I am back here. Missed you all – seems like a much more active and supportive group here than the TN page. Maybe just because I feel like I know you all better. At any rate, I KNOW I like the Eagle diagnosis better than TN!! ---

It’s always nice to rule out something that there’s really no cure for! So glad you’re back & can now deal with ES which has a known “fix”. Though surgery doesn’t always have perfect results it does give most people significant relief from symptoms & the ability to enjoy life again. 😊 ---

Hey Bopper, I can fully understand your ‘joy’ at having TN ruled out as a cause. TN has been one of my (many) pseudo diagnosis. My TN diagnosis was more a case of ‘If it’s not ‘X’ and it’s not ‘Y’ then it must be TN’. So, in my case, not a direct diagnosis but I was given a whole heap of medications to trial, none of any great benefit and trialled Botox for a while too. It turned into a bit of a merry-go-round of ‘Here try these… …Ohh that didn’t help… …then here, try these instead…’ I was up, then I was down, then I was in a mind fog, I almost rattled like a pill bottle when I walked with all of the differing meds and what it does to the mind can be just nasty. Finally having, as Isaiah calls it ‘a known ‘Fix’’, can help make the journey a little more defined and less like a merry-go-round and that just has to be a plus. Merl from the Modsupport Team ---

Bopper so glad to have you back! I am very sorry for the loss of your mother 🙁 My mother dies a couple years ago and life is just never the same after mom dies. 😢 ---

Bopper, I’m also so sorry to hear about your mom. I lost my mom a few years ago. I have such happy memories of my life growing up w/ her as my mom & then of our friendship as adults. She was truly unique. I hope you’re able to feel that way once the grief recedes. 🤗 ---
