Sounds like a fun trip! I’d love to go to Japan someday. Nice that you were able to visit the Studio Ghibli museum & see some original art work. My brother worked for Disney Animation for some years doing special effects work, & he’d periodically share storyboard videos with us. It was crazy how the “stick figures” in the story boards progressed to the amazing 3D images in the finished product.
I don’t recall having low energy before my surgeries. I was living an extremely active lifestyle back then (long distance running/gym rat) & wouldn’t have let myself slow down even for low energy. I didn’t have the respect for my body back then that I have now. Lots of “water under the bridge” in the last 10+ years in that regard!
Regardless of my situation, we do have quite a number of members who’ve reported low energy as among their ES symptoms so it’s a known problem w/ ES 7 could be related to vagus nerve irritation. That ol’ vagus is such a trouble causer!!
@Zilla, Your styloids are somewhat long, but what stands out to me is how pointed they are - like needles at the tips. The right one has a thick knob in the middle then has a slight downward curve. Your left one looks quite thick at the top & also has a bit of a downward curve. I would say by the way your styloids look, there’s a very good chance they are causing the symptoms you have.
Ouchie! AS @Isaiah_40_31 says, they look like needles & very sharp! It could be where the knob bit is that that was the end of the styloid & the rest is calcified ligament, or it could just be the way they’ve grown, either way, they’re pretty long & easy to see that they could well be causing symptoms!
I would be cautious about having a massage, especially if it’s causing you pain, you wouldn’t want the styloids causing damage if they press into nerves…
Hey still here.. just getting through my other stuff before I explore Eagle’s. My EKG was normal but I need an echocardiogram to know if the murmur is innocent or not.
I have oral surgery on the 16th to remove the cyst in my mandible and have it biopsied. I’ll lose a tooth and I’m hoping to ask the OS what he thought of CT in regards to the Eagle’s.
Summer is already busy and then all this other stuff is somewhat exhausting.
Thank you for the update. It sounds like step by step you’re making progress toward recovering your health @Zilla. I hope your oral surgery goes smoothly & pray that the cyst is benign. Good idea to talk to the OS about your ES CT scan & diagnosis. It’ll be interesting to see if he’s aware of ES.
I recently started seeing a new chiropractor, & he’s completely fascinated w/ my ES journey & has asked to see my diagnostic CT scan from 2014 plus one I had this year for comparison. I love educating doctors I see when they’re interested in learning more about ES vs blowing me off!
