Is this pretty accurate?

I didn't see them do the procedure but the back of my throat was white like that for a few weeks. It felt like a burn and wasn't very painful - just stiff like a burn. The doctor said that tool is only used when removing the tonsil. If the tonsil isn't there then there is an incision and healing is a lot quicker.

Thanks. I sure wish they didn't have to remove it cuz it sounds like a lot of extra pain.

The pain experienced after surgery is NOTHING compared to the pain experienced before surgery. At least the post surgery pain goes away.

Good to know, and thanks for your feedback.
