Does anybody have the neurological form of es. Mots of the stories in the site seem to be the vascular form
I had the neurological form of ES initially but added IJV compression to the mix when I went over the handlebars on my bike & landed on the right side of my face between my ES surgeries.
My first two ES surgeries basically stopped my neurological symptoms. I had pain/symptoms from my trigeminal, facial, glossopharyngeal, spinal accessory, & vagus nerves for sure. What neurological symptoms do you have @Richard123?
Ear pain. Nerve pain under the mandibular bone. Pain in front of my Ear. Pain under my eye n’est the cheek bone. On and off. 5 good days with almost nothing then 2 bad days. I noticed that it tunes bad depending on what i do ex Playing tennis which sollicite the head quite a bit
We are seeing more members with vascular ES now, I think there’s more awareness now/ info online which people are seeing & then looking into themselves. When @Isaiah_40_31 & I were first on the site 10+ years ago it was certainly less seen & members had more of the ‘classic’ ES symptoms. I had the neurological symptoms initially for quite a while, but developed the vascular ones later! I think most people do have some nerve pain alongside vascular symptoms anyway, I guess maybe because the vascular ones can make you feel so ill that people perhaps focus on those?
