Same here, I got eyelid paralysis and mouth paralysis. It definitely made me frantic. The doc knew it was temporary. I just did not know how long temporary was. The eye took about 4 weeks to start coming back. At 5 weeks, it was definitely gaining strength and fully finctioning at 2 months better than prior to surgery. The mouth and lip took about another month to come back.
Interesting fact, the area would itch and tingle whenever the nerves started healing. I was worried at first, but learned to welcome the itching and tingling.
