Most of the members of this forum have had to see many ENT doctors to find the “right” one do to his/her ES surgery. Try looking for an ENT throat cancer specialist who is a skull-based surgeon. The most experienced ES doctors on our forum are that type of doctor.
You may need to travel to another city to see someone like that if you live in a small town. There are a couple of doctors listed in your state. You can use the magnifying glass icon to search posts about the doctors on our doctors’ lists. We advocate the external approach on this forum as you have probably read & at least one of the two does intraoral ES surgery.
Are you able to travel out of state? There are doctors in other states around you that you could try contacting for a skype type consult for starters & then you could decide what to do based on what you learn from them. The most experienced doctors we know of on our doctors’ list are Dr. Samji, in San Jose, CA; Dr. Cognetti & Dr. Newman both in Philadelphia, PA, & Dr. Milligan in Phoenix, AZ. We also have a good report from one of our forum members about Dr. Dedhia who recently began working w/ Dr. Cognetti.
