Upcoming surgery with Dr. Hepworth

I was told by Hepworth to rule out other compressions first. I’m currently being evaluated for tos and hope to get it ruled out by May for surgery with Hepworth end of May. He is going to remove styloid and repair leak

I had appt with NP in Oct and saw Dr. H on Jan 8th as was told I would hear from surgery coordinator within 3 weeks. I have called (left messages for Stephanie) almost weekly and sent messages via the portal and as of today have not been scheduled for surgery. I am very frustrated as I have since been DX with multiple venous compressions in my abdomen and pelvis that need to be addressed. I understand they are backed up but to this day none of my messages have been acknowledged or responded to. Poor communications!

I am wondering if those of you who are patients of Denver Sinus and Skullbase Care need to add medications and supplements to the chart each time you need to confirm an upcoming visit. Yesterday I needed to confirm the pre-op visit on Tuesday and then I needed to spend an hour entering in ALL the meds and supplements that were already on her chart I thought. Now this morning I get another confirmation email for the surgery on the 1st and again it says no meds are on file!!! What am I doing wrong??? Is this just the way it is to need to enter in the long list every time? Does someone have an easier way of entering in if need to each time?

I think there’s a hiccup in the system, @BuckeyePrincess. I’d just print off several copies of her meds list & hand one to the admitting desk at the hospital & one to Dr. Hepworth’s office & to whoever else needs it, & let them scan the info into her chart. That’s ridiculous that the information isn’t transferring from point A to point B in the computer charting system!
