Hi @TML , I believe I am having this issue. My right side is very symptomatic, and I have severe eye symptoms (extremely dry eyes, can’t focus eyes at all, etc). I also have a lot of vagus nerve symptoms. Is this thyroid cartilage or something else (see attached image from my CT)? How is this treated and what type of doctor treats it? I am having surgery with Dr Costantino soon, and I’m planning to ask him about it, but I’ve heard that he doesn’t address thyroid or hyoid issues. Thanks in advance
Edit to add: I’ve also had multiple full thyroid panels throughout my life, and it’s always normal. My TSH does run on the low-ish end (0.4-0.6) and has since I was a kid, but it’s still in range, and I don’t have symptoms of hyperthyroid. Everything else is normal
