I had to sleep w/ my head elevated for close to 2 months after my first surgery & have no recollection of when I could finally sleep on the operated side. I was also on pain meds for 6 weeks post op though weaning by then. You’re doing great! You’ll get to the point you forget you couldn’t sleep on that side.
That’s healing really well! Sometimes the old beardy growth makes healing slower, but yours looks great! How’s the rest of the healing going, how are you feeling?
Your incision looks AMAZING! Mine took longer than 2 weeks to get to that point. You must be a quick healer (an advantage of “youth” 
). Hoping the absence of symptoms matches the disappearance of your incision!!
Hi Eaglet, I don’t know if you are still around but I am hoping to have Dr Sharma do my surgery as well. Would you still recommend him? So glad you got yours out!
I’ve recently developed a metallic taste in my mouth and as of yesterday started smelling smoke. I don’t smoke and nobody else smells it. It’s embarrassing. Trying to research “smell” in the magnifying glass and came across this post.
