I have IJV compression with Collateral veins at the base of my skull. HAs anyone had Collateral veins with their surgery? And what happens to the veins after the surgery?
AS far as I’m aware, they should shrink back. My surgeon said that other veins take over when there’s compression but return to normal if it’s relieved.
Hopefully others can chip in with their experiences.
