Help for looking at my 3D CT Scan?

@Isaiah_40_31 @Jules I tried today to find a a speech therapist… They are all unavailable

Today is a great painful day,my neck is

swollen and tight . I am so painful.

How can the doctors let us suffer so much?

Try icing your neck on days like today, @Veroguilnec, as that can really help. Put the ice pack on for 15-20 minutes then again in 2 hrs. Make sure to protect your skin under the ice pack w/a thin cloth to prevent ice burns. If ice makes the pain worse, you can try heat. Moist heat works better than dry heat. There are packs you can buy that can be either frozen or heated & they have a fabric cover that can be moistened to create a moist heat situation.

Bonjour

is that doktor known here for jugulair compressions ?

and is that site known here too , many publications about Eagle.

@Jules @Isaiah_40_31

some news about

News about my appointment with a neurosurgeon two days ago.

He refused to look at my exams. He just kept insisting that if jugular vein compression existed, it wasn’t a problem in chronic illnesses because the collateral venous system would compensate.

He strongly advised against surgery, just as he refuted vision problems outside the context of proven intracranial hypertension.

Too bad I hadn’t found this publication yet

WOW! It sounds like you just found an incredible treasure, @Veroguilnec!! Can you get an appointment w/ Dr. Pagani? He’s in Italy but not too far from France. He would certainly be able to give you a more accurate 2nd opinion than the other doctors you’ve seen.

We haven’t heard of him, but I’m going to put him on our Doctors List as a resource for our Italian & other European members.

I’m sorry you’ve seen another doctor who is dismissive of your symptoms. How foolish of him not to look at your imaging. For what it’s worth, one of my doctors told me he was afraid for me when I told him I was having IJV decompression surgery & he was an ENT surgeon!! So sad!!

Hi @Isaiah_40_31 Yes ,as soon as my angioscanner is done (again another one because the first one doesn’t look jugulairs) I will take an appointement with Dr Pagani . For the link of Dr pagani it is my husband who found it . It is now listed on Sue Eagle France since this morning with a member.

This site is also very interesting https://surgicalneurologyint.com/

Well your neurosurgeon doesn’t know what he’s talking about! That’s so frustrating for you !
But good news that you’ve heard about the doctor in Italy, I can’t recall him ever being mentioned on here before, I hope you’re able to get a consultation with him!

I am so thankful you gave us Dr. Pagani’s contact information as we have a member in Ireland who has had a terrible time getting surgery. I was able to pass the information along to him & he’s feeling more optimistic about having the surgery he needs now.

Hi @Isaiah-40-31 I am happy if that member has now perhaps a way to be more optimistic! This forum is so helpful for all ! Thanks ++++ to you and thanks+++ also for @Jules

That week-end I have a very small access to internet : my husband wanted again a small break with my health problems and so we are again near the sea in our mobil-home! (so no good connection …very very low)

Nice to be near the sea though! I’m away for a sea side break too this weekend, watching the very rough sea right now actually, it’s so relaxing, I hope you’re able to enjoy your time away :hugs:
