Surgery with Mr Hughes London this Friday

Hi patient D yes I understand all of that, equally people needing revisions after seeing mr t have gone to dr.G for help, with my case my husband clearly explained to Samantha his secretary that I needed not help with my fusion but assessment of possible compression issues and iih. I just asked for his opinion that’s all.

Thank you @Isaiah_40_31 for your kindness and concern, I’ve actually just gotten back from seeing dr.G, as we had thought I’d retethered after the spinal cord release last year but he thinks I have SI joint instability and compression of sciatic and prudendal nerves on the left side, as well as nutcracker syndrome with secondary IIH. He has suggested seeing dr.Morata in Malaga who specialises in nutcracker, I’m waiting for a zoom with him and waiting to get bolt testing at queens via mr.Toma atm. I hope to go back to mr.axon at some point but I understand the situation there !

On IHH topic Mr Lawrence Watkins at Queens Sq May be helpful. He is away due to operation just now but is due to return soon. His private practice at QS has lower consult fees than most & he leads an NHs team on IHH topics, more commonly due to CSF fluid problems I think. D

Has anyone seen Mr Toma yet? Has good reviews. He is covering clinic in Mr Watkins absence so trying to decide if see him instead for CTV results. Ty. D

So sorry for all your ongoing issues, crazy having to go to so many doctors for help, and abroad…sending you a hug :hugs:

@LivvySheep unfortunately Mr O’s radiologist said I am not a candidate for suregry and all I have is tmj and inflammed lymph nodes. Suggested some blood tests and a biopsy for a lesion found in the right parotid. Nhs appointments weren’t coing quick enough and ive already spent a lot privately and not got anywhere. So I travelled to India to get a second opinion. But here the drs are against this surgery unless there is sharp shooting pain. Mine is more dull achy sort of pain. Only one Dr is willing to do surgery but only offering intraoral. Im not sure if i want to opt for intraoral. Currently on trying some meds for pain and ongoing balance issues. Had a biopsy of the parotid and all blood tests to check for Rheumatoid arthritis and sarcoidosis, including the biopsy report, all came back as normal.

I just need to decide whether I opt for one sided intraoral or just return to UK and go back to Mr Hughes. Not sure yet but pain is still constant.

YIKES! @LivvySheep! You have A LOT going on! I’m glad there are still doctors for you to see who can help. I hope you’re able to get in with someone who deals with OJV compression as well, ASAP.

I’m sorry your spinal cord has not been cooperative in remaining untethered. Very frustrating for you!!

I will be praying foe you to be anble to get appointments with the doctors who can help you most. :hugs::heart:

@PatientD I know very unlikely, but do you have the procedure codes that you were charged for at cleveland clinic London, and the price for each one. My quote is coming out to over double what you paid?

Hi, soz am in hospital unwell so no past records here with me. Recall I paid c £6/7k for each side. I may have posted costs at time. I think talk to his private sec to query costs / she is very good & always helps. D
