Update from Treatment yesterday

I wanted to give an update.. I had my appointment yesterday at noon- I had an IV of glutathione right before she started working on me… She has a microcurrent machine that has different frequencies it’s kind of like homeopathy in a box. Kind of like a tens machine. It’s still very new for me so I’m probably not explaining everything correctly.. There are specific frequencies for draining, central nervous system frequencies, healing, viruses etc. she saw my CTV and I may not be saying this correctly but she thought that my Dura was swollen and inflamed and that is generally toxins… I am also environmentally ill. So she did craniosacral work while she used the frequencies. She did cranial sacral work on my occiput and in craniosacral work was able to get a release (which is what they call it) of my sphenoid SBS… I’ve been working with a craniosacral therapist in Dallas for the past two years and she was able to manually move the fluid out of my head-(I had intracranial hypertension) we were never able to fully get the SBS to release so that it could move properly and we got that yesterday.. I felt it.. I didn’t have a headache after that and I don’t have a headache today. I know it’s only day one but it’s very rare that without medication I don’t have a headache. The pressure in my neck and jugular is so much better (80 %) I think for me things needed to be lifted… I’ve had multiple concussions, I had concussion in between my eyes when I was a little girl (from a car wreck) and in my 20s I landed on the back of my head riding a horse… my occiput was a big roll, a tight band where a lot of tension headaches came from -it is lifted and smooth now-this may be a game changer for me… She worked with professional athletes because they get so many head injuries but she also worked in a clinic for environmental illness. Eagle syndrome is new for her.(as it is for most) but she looked at my CTV and was able to free some space up- today anyway my head feels so much better. She said you’re still gonna need the surgery but let’s just work on you and your symptoms until you have it. I get my next treatment Tuesday. I’m pretty excited.. I’m not trying to endorse anything for anybody (this is all new for me) but I’m just sharing my experience and I feel better today. Everybody has different circumstances and there’s a lot of moving parts to head injuries and Eagle syndrome but just wanted to share my early results.. feeling kind of hopeful.

That’s super interesting information @Minh2025! How great that you’ve found this therapist who has experience working w/ athletes w/ head injuries & knowledge of alternative, non-invasive therapies that are helpful in resolving pain. It also sounds like she’s extremely intuitive in seeing & feeling what needs to be done to help a given person. What a HUGE blessing for you!! I hope the treatments you’re receiving from her reduce your symptoms over the long term until you have surgery.

Brilliant that you’ve seen improvements from your first treatment! I hope it stays that way with further treatments and that it keeps the symptoms at bay until you can have surgery…take care and thanks for sharing :hugs:

Me too… As a sidenote I am chemically sensitive I think I’ve mentioned that on this forum… She thinks that’s directly linked with head trauma for some people… So she’s treating that but she thinks the styloids being a elongated/calcified are also a huge part of it…

So I still haven’t had a migraine since I went to her… I still have to be careful how I turn my head my jaw is still off- I still have eagle syndrome… But the headache part is so much better… And that’s one treatment I get my next one on Tuesday… I don’t wanna get my hopes up because I’ve done that before but it has definitely changed something in my head..

@Minh2025 - Super good news that you still haven’t had a migraine since your last treatment!!

Our member @vcp02 is also from your state & is seeing a dentist who is certified in ALF treatments. That is something else you may want to look into.

Hello!

My Eagles was misdiagnosed for years as TMJ. I underwent years of Botox treatment and mouth guards that almost destroyed me. Since the removal of my styloids all that nerve pain has resolved. However, my jaw/ bite has suffered so much damage and is still misplaced that I needed to find adequate treatment and care. I am 5 months into my ALF treatment with Dr. King. http://www.danahodgeking.com/ She has helped me tremendously. I do want to mention I don’t think her treatment would of been as effective for me had I not gotten my styoidectomy. The ossification in such a critical area it adds to the muscle tightness and exacerbates the TMJ pains. Dr. Dutson is a upper cervical chiropractor who is more familiar with Eagles an can do some great imaging in office he is also located in the area. https://thriveucsa.com/

I am happy to hear your current treatment has been effective at alleviating some of your symptoms. Wishing you all the best.

Thank you for the encouragement…
Also thanks for sharing your story and that doctor’s name… I live in Austin so San Antonio would be no big deal to drive…
My jaw problem started during Covid it literally just shifted and I couldn’t bite it on my back teeth… I treated it as a deficiency, my general dentist could find no issues, he sent me to an orthodontist they found nothing… nothing I tried worked… I wear my old bleach tray on my lower teeth at night so I won’t damage my teeth but I know that I have already hurt them by biting incorrectly…
Wonder if I get styloid surgery if my jaw will go into place…

Tomorrow is my Tele appointment with Dr. Babu Welch- I will let you know what he says…

Next I will have a Tele appointment with Dr. Osborne…
