Hi, I need to upload my reports to Dr. Hepworth’s portal. What reports did you upload? I’ve had so much testing at this point, I don’t want to upload it all because it will cost me a fortune. I was going to upload cerebral angiogram, possibly CBCT from biological dentist but I don’t think my CTA or CTV showed jugular compression, only the angiogram. Thoughts? Oh and any tips on dowloading them from the PACS and then uploading into Hepworth’s portal? Does anyone know if current waitlist? I haven’t yet gotten past the fill out the first form at this point.
If you suspect compression from your symptoms, I would still send the CTA/CTV as often the doctors are more experienced at spotting compression, radiologists sometimes miss it.
Hopefully others who’ve seen Dr Hepworth recently can chip in with advice!
My CTA and CTV didn’t show compression but my angiogram showed complete compression with any movement of my head. I also have a CBCT, so send them all?
@Wafer16 - Upload the imaging that shows your vascular compression. The CBCT could be helpful though your angiogram should provide the information needed to show what is compressing your IJV(s). Dr. Hepworth’s ofc will let you know if they need more imaging.
I think he’s booking into Nov. for initial consults at the moment & surgery next year, but his office does keep a cancellation list for all appointments & getting on that list can help move your appt. sooner. You’ll have an initial telehealth appt w/ one of his NPs then an ultrasound at Health Images near his office & an in person appt w/ him a couple of months later. The process is slow, but he is an excellent & compassionate surgeon so worth the wait, at least in my estimation.
If you want quicker action, you can contact Dr. Liu & Dr. Costantino’s offices as they aren’t booking as far out & both do telehealth initial consults. We’ve also recently gotten the names of two other doctors in Philadelphia who are doing styloidectomies w/ IJV decompression. You could try their office as well. I don’t know if they do telehealth consults or not.

Thank you for all of this information!!! I have hEDS, a deviated septum, a previously broken nose, fairly recent sinus surgery, a body that grows extra bone everywhere and I live in Utah with family in Denver, so that is why I am hoping to wait for Hepworth. Constantino’s office has already told me they will not accept my insurance. I will check out the others, as I hadn’t heard of them. I appreciate you greatly. I will upload my angiogram images tomorrow. Again thank you!
