Hey Gracious, i'm sorry to hear you can't get treated now. But the baby is more important at the moment. I wish you the best on your pregnancy. Can you tell us what Roy said to you? I'll never forget when he said to me he never believed in Eagle Syndrome at first until he was convinced.
Lifelongeagle- totally agree that the symptoms went away during pregnancy!! It was the same for me, I felt great during my pregnancies(other than pregnancy stuff)! Very interesting:)
Amazing also! I am pregnant and in the last year dealing with this, this has been the time when I’ve been in the least amount of pain.
Probably does have to do with blood flow.
Wow !
Yes. 13 years ago in the night after a neck injury caused stroke balance profound hearing loss with howling pulsatile tinnitus and Supraventricular tachycardia. No diagnosis and nothing on the reports for why I nearly pass out when I’m working or driving and when i turn my head and swallow it triggers SVT attacks. I have my scans that i look at in mychart and compare them to google. It looks like mine is c1 c2 and styloid. The told me there is absolutely nothing wrong with me. I beg to differ if any one of the aprox 50 health care people neuro’s Ent’s Otolaryngologist vascular veinous. None of them would review my scans. time and time and time again I was told “we have the reports!” Even Mayo read the reports and declared unremarkable without ever looking at the scans themselves. I hope this will change going forward as I find the places i need to be by asking questions and pushing forward. I have a granddaughter named Grace. I hope the best in your search for answers. Believing and trusting in ourselves will help us even tho those around us don’t understand and many are hurtful it becomes necessary to reach out where we can recieve confirmation that our feeling are validated. Take care. I look forward to seeing where this all ends up.
@Mazy - This discussion thread ended in 2014 so you may not get a response from anyone. I’m glad you found kindred spirits here though. We have a number of more contemporary discussions that express many similar frustrations as well as helpful information. I hope you’ll find those as well. ![]()
