Good- yes the info can get overwhelming, and quite depressing sometimes! I've felt like I'm going around in circles with it all!! The internet is wonderful that we can do our own research to help us advocate for ourselves, and connect together to give each other support. My brain fog has definitely improved since surgery, although I know your case is different. I used to feel like I was a bit drunk and trying to appear sober- off balance, couldn't think quickly or clearly, just a bit bemused at times- luckily it's improved so I've actually been able to help my sons with their GCSE maths!! Good luck with your search.
Jules, thinking about you saying your brain fog got better after ES surgery has really made me wonder if my brain fog is from ES or SCDS. I am scheduled for SCDS surgery in Aug but now am having 2nd thoughts, as I didn't realized ES causes it also. Maybe I did realize it a week ago, but that thought is gone today! Maybe I have double brain fog!!!! I really wish I could find one Dr that knows about BOTH! Ruth mentioned an article that puts them together, I am going to do more searching to find it and bring it to the one Dr. that did at least find my SCDS and seems more concerned than the Dr. that found my ES. I just may postpone that surgery yet again!
