Additional images?

Hello all,

I have contacted all the specialists (near to or far from - Ottawa) who can perform the surgery involving IJV. As I said before I shared my recent images (CT Scan with contrast) and report with the physicians.

If a specialist accepts my case, will there be additional images required?

If a specialist accepts your case, you won’t be required to get more imaging prior to your surgery. Additional imaging is usually only ordered prior to being offered surgery to clarify for a given surgeon whether or not surgery will most likely be helpful.

Some surgeons will have you get a follow up CT scan at some point after surgery to see how your IJV & the surrounding area are healing or have healed.
