Bilateral calcification

@Sara32 - I over did things about 6 weeks after my first surgery which was only unilateral, not bilateral. My throat began feeling like it was going to swell closed just like it had felt right after surgery, I was sometimes panicking as I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to breathe. Pain got worse & new symptoms cropped up. I stopped pushing myself & took it easy again for several weeks & the symptoms calmed back down, but it took a while. I hope that being “too busy” is what has caused your symptoms to escalate. You had bilateral surgery which means it’ll take a bit longer for you to be able to be really active again. When you start being more active, do it in “baby steps” not by leaps & bounds like I did.

True, that’s exactly what’s happening to me. Recovery is tricky, you think you can do everything and then it all comes back in a few days. Thank you for your help, Isaiah :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

@Bc2 A late reply to your post in November…Dr. Amans runs The Pulsatile Tinnitus Clinic at UCSF which might be worth your time.

Hello has someone news from Sara32 ?

@Veroguilnec - I haven’t heard from @Sara32 since her last post in this discussion (Dec. 2025). I hope she is doing well. She seemed optimistic then.
