Dr. Jakub Bargiel: Poland, new study

Thought some people might want to read this new study by Dr. Jakub Bargiel, who is situated in Krakow, Poland.

This doctor is using a “minimally invasive” technique, and I won’t comment much on that since I’m nowhere near qualified. What caught my eye was the sheer number of procedures he completed between 2021-2023 (84 to be precise) and then the outcomes. We know through here that people have complications they’re not willing/wanting to report back (for whatever reason), but this seems to be a good batting average and maybe an option for those who are in Europe or willing to travel overseas.

Dr. Bargiel is reviewing my husband’s CT and so I’m curious to hear his thoughts and proposed approach to the surgery. He charges 9200€/$10,000USD/$14,000CAD for bilateral surgery. A similar amount to our 2 quotes in Türkiye.

Happy reading!

Okay, I’m late to the party. This is a one year retrospective to a study he published in 2023, which is posted on this site in the archives. Anyway, I’ll leave it up since this versions has a few updates.

Thank you for posting it. I will have to go back and read it throughly. I had to stop at the point where it said only 13 percent were diagnosed by ENT and over 43 percent had to be diagnosed initially by Dr Google. It made me angry thinking of all the medical gaslighting we go through.
97 patients in two years in poland seems like a crazy high number to me.
My oral surgeon didnt want to discuss Eagle Syndrome at all and said that was for the ENT department but that department put a note in my file that i did not have Eagle Syndrome when i am clearly symptomatic and have a styloid over 4 cm. When i pitched a fit demanding a reread of my scan they retracted that claim

I am at my limit for tolerating incompetence.

He is on our list, but we don’t know of any members who have seen him, I’ll add the updated research paper to his name…let us know how you get on with him!
