@Jules :blush: I really wasn’t planning to say anything until after surgery, but @Jess14 comment made me want to share that we don’t have to accept that there’s nothing more that can be done until we understand the source. If the source can’t be resolved, that’s a different discussion.

I have Anthem PPO this year and they literally approved the surgery within hours! The dynamic cerebral angiogram with venous manometry took a couple of days—that was the last piece to come through.

I should have added they did not send in for insurance approval until after all the pre-op testing was completed.

@MGORNEAU - I’m so glad to know your next step toward recovery is coming up so soon! It’s also great that you didn’t have a huge battle w/ your insurance company to get approval. That seems practically unheard of these days!! I’ve put your surgery date on my calendar & will also be praying for you on Tues. especially. :hugs:
