For those of you who have traveled to see one of the Eagle's doctors on our list, do you have any pointers or suggestions for dealing with the insurance company?
Were you able to get your insurance company to pay to see an "out of network" doctor?
Any insight is greatly appreciated! :-)

The specialist (Dr. Samji in San Jose,CA) I saw was in my home state and I didn't have to travel too far to see him. Believe it or not ........I just looked it up and luckily he was in network for me. (surgery was 6 weeks ago). Guess I was desperate and was willing to do whatever it took. :)
Great questions to pay attention to though!
