I don’t think any of our members have been to see Dr. Nagarsheth which is why you can’t find much about him here. The only mention I could find was probably the one you saw by @coldbear in 7/22 ES Surgery- Story and Setbacks - #23 by coldbear . In that case, Dr. N put in a stent after someone’s decompression surgery failed. I don’t know if he does IJV decompression or if putting in a stent is his front line approach to “opening” a compressed section of vein.
I’ve been in conversation with another of our members who received a stent but not decompression of a compressed area above the stent. I feel convinced that some uncomfortable persistent symptoms she has are because that IJV needs to be decompressed up closer to the skull base as it still isn’t letting the blood out of her brain at the rate it needs to because of the compression. A stent below a compression doesn’t seem to be to be very worthwhile as it doesn’t open up the narrowed area, just makes an already open area wider. Dr. N was not her surgeon.
