That’s why an appointment w/ Dr. Dewan would be good. She has specific testing she does for HBS in her office & could tell you right there & then if she thinks that’s what’s going on. It would be good to see someone who’s really tuned into the symptoms & has a solid testing approach to either rule in or out that’s whether your clicking, globus & gagging are coming from your hyoid or somewhere else.

Sorry for the delayed response
and this is an update in general. I am going to be going to Dr. Cognettis office to meet with one of the doctors named Megan Crippin (i believe) they said that “clicking” in my throat is not normal and generally an automatic symptom / signal of clicking larynx syndrome.
She is going to feel where the clicking is happening then put a nerve blocker / steroid in it to try and provide relief to proof if that is whats happening. I’m really hoping it goes into the pharangyeal nerve cause I really feel like thats where this feeling is coming from (crico spasms) but they are the experts so I”ll leave that to them lol.
I’m excited and nervous at the same time because this is my last hope. This will proof if its the clicking causing my gagging / tightness sensation. I go on the 25th I believe so I’ll keep everyone posted.
It would be great if anyone out there who has gone through this and had the same symptoms as me could reach out in private message with some hope! lol

I’m putting your appt. date on my calendar @Rfoxed. I’m really happy you finally have an appointment!! I will be praying the testing Dr. Crippin does gives you a diagnosis so you can get on with treatment & recovery. Looking forward to hearing from you after you see her.
