Hi, I came across this article that maybe useful for those on this forum that have persistant non-pulsatile tinnitus after internal jugular vein decompression surgery. It might be worthwhile researching a bit more into the use of PEA and luteolin which are both anti-neuroinflammatory agents.
PEA seems particularly interesting as it is naturally produced by the body when there is inflammation and it is not a COX-2 inhibitor either (unlike NSAIDS) so it doesn’t interfer with the production of resolvins which are also naturally produced by the body to resolve and clean up inflammation ie after a surgical procedure.
