Got a first X ray with calcified styloid process, need ur help

Good to hear from you @junonbss ! I’m glad to learn you have a plan for moving forward with your care. I hope the calcium therapy makes a big difference in reducing your muscle tension which in turn could reduce your TOS symptoms. I agree that your hyperhydrosis could be from your vagus nerve as it can affect body thermoregulation. It would be great for you to be able to get your styloids out of your neck soon, too, so they are no longer causing trouble! :heart_with_ribbon:

I talked to the ENT surgeon yesterday, and he told me something. Your fingers are numb, consult with your doctors in France, it’s more likely related to PTH hormone. TOS is possible, but you need consult with doctors in France. Moreover, many people have TOS and they live with it without any problems, only do exercises, etc.

Hi Junonbss, I came across this article on hyperhidrosis. 12-14% of those on effexor (venlafaxine) have it. Antidepressant-Induced Sweating
