Has anyone found Celebrex helpful with their symptoms?

Wondering if anyone has found Celebrex helpful with their symptoms?

Celebrex is a powerful anti-inflammatory. The way it helps nerve pain is by decreasing inflammation in the tissues that are causing nerve irritation/compression which is an indirect benefit. If it helps reduce your symptoms, there’s nothing wrong with taking it, except for the potential of stomach irritation if used over the long term.

Nerve pain medications (Gabapentin, Amitriptyline, Carbamazepine, etc) work more specifically on the nerves themselves so can be more effective than an anti-inflammatory.

This is an old post, but the member found it helpful:

If you’ve tolerated it well before & it helped then worth going back on I would think…

Yes my Neurologist prescribed it for me. I can tolerate it every second day. Brings the pain in my head down. I go from touching my hair hurts to touching my head okay. I generally feel better and have more tolerance but have to be careful to not then overdo things.
