Imaging CT Angiography

Hi everyone, I don’t know if I did this right but these images are of my recent CT angiography of my neck they admitted that the contrast arrived late to the veins per the report so my vertebral arteries couldn’t be assessed well because the veins around them had already been filled with contrast before they could do the pre Imaging my carotid assessment is in neutral only and I did not have a dynamic CT.

Wow, your right side styloid is huge! It does look like there’s a decent gap between the styloid and the C1 process on the right which is where there’s normally some compression, and obviously the veins aren’t showing very clearly, but it does look like there’s compression by the C1 process, and possibly at the hyoid bone level as well. (This could perhaps be soft tissue compression) The right side styloid is pretty thick right at the top so could perhaps be causing compression at the jugular foramen, but this doesn’t show/ can’t be seen clearly. Your left styloid is much shorter but again quite thick at the top, and again it looks like the C1 process could be causing some compression. The IJV can’t be seen between the C1 and the hyoid level, so whether that’s compression along that length of it or whether it’s a not very good quality CT I can’t say… Obviously we’re not doctors on here, so these are just suggestions of things to ask a doctor, and I think if you can get imaging sent to one of the VES doctors that would be your best bet rather than trying to find someone local, if you can :hugs:
