Mri

I Have only seen the head/ neck specialist my general
ENT sent me to one time, and at that appointment he confirmed my CT findings of bilateral elongation of stylohyoids and listened to my pain symptoms. He did not formally diagnose me with Eagles. Now he has ordered an MRI of the neck. I do not know why he has ordered an MRI as I thought it was not helpful in diagnosing eagles syndrome. Does anyone have an educated guess as to why he would order an MRI? His office only called so I have not spoken directly with him. I’m thinking maybe he wants to rule out other issues (?)
