Here are links to two wonderful organizations that can help you get the care you need from the doctor you want to see especially if that doctor is not “in network” with your medical insurance company. The first link is for all states in the US. The second link is for patients who live in California. I recall there is something like this for patients in NY, and I expect there may be similar state-specific help in other states as well, but I don’t have that information at this time. Thank you for publishing this information. I am still battling fidelis, they insist 2 Drs are available to help but there isn’t much chatter about Dr Persky or Dr Roof. I also found Dr Victoria banuchi. I am presently seeing Dr. Constantino and so far very comfortable with him. Tomorrow I go for his ctav paying out of pocket. When I get the results I will have to make the decisions to keep fighting with fidelis or switch insurance? I have spoken with ny State of health and from what they are saying I will probably be able to do that because of my circumstances. I’m not giving up! Fingers crossed

Great work, @lilwider!! It’s very sad our members often must fight so hard to see the best doctors for their care needs. I wish insurance companies could be more understanding/flexible, but they are businesses, & their bottom line is the almighty dollar not patient care or advocacy.
