I hope you had a great Christmas 
I came to understand that my dynamic Angiogram identified i have severely engorged emissary veins, high riding jugular bulb, benign intracranial hypertension, and obviously compressed IJV. I was told the emissary veins can take sometimes to deflate by themselves.
Now I need to be patient and go day by day since my surgery.

Yes, it does take time Audrey! I can’t remember if you’ll need the surgery to remove the styloid the other side too? If so, then you might not feel the full benefit of the surgery until that’s done as well, but at least one major procedure is done now and you can take it easy, heal from that and look forward to the year ahead, hopefully with improved health! 
Yes, the left side is also compressed.
