@bs9652 Here is your styloid, and at an unusual angle being strait down. Do you have any eagle’s syndrome symptoms?
Many symptoms along with jugular compression. Surgery date September 25. Styloidectomy with c1 shave

We’re very happy to be here for you! @Jules & I both joined in 2014 & had our first surgeries near the same time. In 2015 the moderators who were on this forum decided to “retire” so Jules took over the task nearly single-handedly for 2 years until I decided to join her. She aptly said her reason was to pay forward the support she had received when first diagnosed & seeking help. It’s been a huge blessing to work “side by side” for the last 9 years! We definitely rely on our members to be a part of the support network here as there is so much to know! We truly appreciate that so many of our members pitch in to give support, information, & sympathy/empathy to each other.

I was finally able to find and upload the other 2 X-rays that were done on my left side awhile back. Can you spot the styloid and or the c1 or anything else of significance? After getting some paperwork from his office, it looks like he will be doing a partial shave of c1 while Dr.Cognetti does the styloidectomy. I’m just asking an opinion. I know you’ve seen so many of these scans. Thanks, Barb
