Someone may have posted this already, but I found this overview very helpful as a new patient. I also clicked on many of the links to read the summaries of the research articles, most of which are recent from 2020-22.

Hi & welcome to the site! Thanks for posting this- the links are useful, just a note though that although the author has diagnosed a few members, the prolotherapy treatment doesn’t seem helpful for ES.

Very good to know! I downloaded one of the links (the survey review article) to read and bring to my family doctor in January - it has good advice about the tests for vascular compression and also nerve pain medications.
