@RitaPita - This discussion is 3 years old so you may not get a response, however, I can tell you that vocal changes & pain w/ speech or singing are related to vagus nerve irritation or compression by the styloids. Once the vagus nerve is decompressed, vocal recovery generally occurs though it can take a number of months.
