Peng et. al.--Surgical treatment for cognitive impairment caused by IJV stenosis: clinical study of C1 transverse process resection

A case series of patients with cognitive issues caused by IJV compression, who were treated with surgical C1 transverse process resection (“C1 shave”). On average, their cognitive function improved after the surgery.

The paper doesn’t mention if the patients were evaluated for Eagle syndrome, and they didn’t get styloidectomies.
