It truly isn’t vital to see the nerves that may be involved w/ your symptoms in a scan prior to having a styloidectomy as an experienced surgeon will be able to see what’s what w/ the nerves during the surgery. Also, several of the major cranial nerves are usually monitored during surgery so they are stresses as little as possible.

Thank you so much for this. I originally asked for a Fiesta Scan and they didn’t even know what I was talking about and I did not know enough to try to explain. I am going to print this out and study it.
