I have read that several people have complained of shoulder and arm pain.
I have been dealing with a pain that starts in front of my left ear and goes down all the way to the neck, shoulder and arm. All the pain is located on the same side.
All this pain became worst after my intraoral surgery.
I have even been thinking that I might have MS but all my reflex and balance test have been normal so far. Having an MRI next month.
Dear Valeriana, yes, I get pain that starts in my ear and goes down my neck & arm. Probably nerve pain being stimulated by all the irritation & Inflammation. It will continue until the source of the Inflammation is removed or you take some drugs that decrease inflammation. I’m doing my best to get through one day at a time for now. I wish I could give you a “Magic” answer, but I can’t.

I do, but have since found out I don't have Eagles.
I had an EMG test on the arm and it showed neuropathy to my pinky and ring fingers. They blamed the nerve in your "funny" bone at the elbow but it hurts from the neck to the armpit, down the back of my arm to the pinky/ring fingers. I have nerve pain across the entire left half of my face.
I had surgery for trigeminal neuralgia but it didn't work and another hospital said that it was some rarer thing called "Tolosa-Hunt" syndrome which was an infection deep behind my eye/roof of my throat which damaged the nerves/tissue in that area which is why I have the pains.
Hi, I have had pain in my left arm about half way between elbow and shoulder for several years. I asked a physical therapist when there for a torn muscle in my thigh. She said could be bursitis but I never had it checked out. The last couple years I always have pain behind my ear, down my shoulder and into my arm. I have trouble getting shirts on and off etc. I can’t reach very far above my head. If I wiggle my shoulder or neck it clicks and I can feel it too. I get what I think is tendonitis in both wrists and have had cortisone shots in both thumbs for arthritis several times. If I get bumped or jarred, the pain shoots and is bad for a few seconds. I have been treated for tennis elbow in my right arm and tendonitis in my right wrist.
I know a couple of meds I’ve been on have side affects of a torn muscle or ligament so I kind of figure I will just have to live with it.

I have confirmed eagles syndrome left side…surgery next week! Finally! …and yes I get nerve pain all the way from “eagles side” face to foot…I have been checked for MS literally every year for the past ten years…Always felt like saying to neurologists…" Does MS Only attack the left side of your body?" But I held my tongue! That makes 10 MRI of the brain, cervical and thoracic portions of my back…such a waste! Simple CT diagnosed 4.9 centimeter medially deviated styloid process…and. Believe it or not my ENT agrees with all the crazy nerve symptoms from the styloid process she said it impinges on many vascular and neural structures. I even get action tremors in my left hand. I can’t wait to see if all these symptoms leave after surgery or if there has been some permanent nerve damage done. Either way after ten years of being dx as fibromyalgia patient to possible MS patient…I am just glad I finally have received an explanation for all of these crazy symptoms…still scared about my surgery and praying all goes well.
Same thing also! After the surgery my hand also gets numb and tingly like its going to sleep! My legs have seemed a bit weak also but that could just be from the poor sleep I have had after surgery.
