Sorry if I’ve done the threads wrong. Just wanted to update everyone I’m getting left styloid out in 2 weeks here in Glasgow and my surgeon is using the TORS robot afterall, I was told it’s being kept only for cancer patients. Wish me luck. Finally getting the other one out, it’s really starting to cause heaps of issues so I’m very glad x

HOORAY! I’m so glad you have a surgery date! We’ve had a couple of members who’ve had TORS surgery to shorten styloids with good results so I hope you have the same. I think there aren’t too many surgeons who are trained to use the TORS robotic system to do surgery thus most ES surgeons still do surgery “the old fashioned way”.
Please let us know your surgery date & please come back after surgery & let us know how it went & how you’re feeling when you’re well enough to do so.
