Hi there

I live in London Ontario and I am not aware of any surgeons in Ontario. Many go to the US.

Dr. Pereira Toronto does brain stenting not ES surgery. He is aware of ES but does not treat it.

Malvin Young from Pembroke, Ontario is starting a new group for ES. His styloids were removed by Dr. Osborne in California. Bilateral removal all out of pocket expenses. He is doing great.

I have Vascular ES, not just ES, with compression of the Internal Jugular Veins by styloid ligament and C1. No one treats the C1 compression in Canada.

I had surgery with Dr. P Nakaji in Scottsdale AZ.

Thank you for the info, @Bmmac. I didn’t think there was anyone in Ontario doing surgeries, but one of our CA members just got a referral to Dr. Pereira for ES & was given an appt. so I wondered if he’s added ES care to his medical practice.

Dr. Pereira is not doing styloidectomies. I believe he refers out to Toronto Western Dr. for styloidectomy, who does not do C1 resection. There are mixed reviews with that doctor and long waits.

I have not seen Pereira as he is often called away for surgery. I did see his fellow Rodriguez. Pereira only deals with stents in brain eg. Transverse sinus.

Hope that clarifies.
