Too tired. Am I chasing another ghost?

Some of the ES symptoms are caused by inflammation from the styloids, so steroids do often damp this down & improve things. Some doctors use steroids as a diagnostic tool to confirm ES. But it isn’t a cure, it’s just settling things down & if you stopped taking them, at some point the ES symptoms would more than likely return…They might dampen the symptoms of bilateral IJV compression, but certainly won’t cure that. And some symptoms of TMJD are similar to ES, but it wouldn’t cause those symptoms from the IJV compression…
There have been some recent discussions about the pressure gradient venogram that Dr Nakaji requites if you want to have a read up about what it involves, & yes, he does rely on the results from that to decide if he feels surgery would help you.
