I’m wondering how long the wait is for Dr. Liu’s office to confirm they have everything they need to schedule? I haven’t heard anything from them since 10/17. And at that time, they did not get my email attachments and I had to resort to faxing. ![]()
@k.p.c It is hard for me to say, I think they have gotten a lot busier with Eagle cases since my consult/surgery. I would call and ask. Wonder what caused the issue with the email attachments. That is odd.
Thanks for your reply. I thought the same thing about the email!
I have fax at my office- so it wasn’t any trouble to fax. I’ve tried calling a couple times since that fax and it’s gone to voicemail every time… sort of unsure when to follow up or how again? Since calls and emails are not being responded to and I don’t have confirmation that everything has been received or not. I also don’t want to be ignored for being too annoying, but don’t want to fall through the cracks, either.
Someone posted that Dr. Liu’s ofc assistant was out on vacation for a week or so & wasn’t returning till last week so there is likely a backup for her to contend with. Maybe he needs to add another staff member with his new level of busy-ness. ![]()
I think a polite check in via email/phone call every couple of weeks after initial contact is ok unless you’re given a more specific timeline of when you’ll hear back. If that’s the case, & there’s no communication, then more frequent contact would be acceptable.
@k.p.c I would call and leave a message if that is an option, just letting them know you don’t know where you stand, do they have everything they need etc. I agree that it is hard to judge pushing the envelope but you at least need to know that you have done what is required of you to secure a consult.
Thanks for the validation- I have left a message and email for them. Hoping to hear back soon. Fingers crossed.
