Hi Ralph
It was Mr Currie Maxillofacial Consultant at Crosshouse I’ve had both sides done right side August 2013 and left side April 2015 not had any significant symptoms since but he did say there is a possibility of regrowth!
Thanks
Rhona

Hi Iv asked for a referral to Mr Currie is he a good surgeon and is he sympathetic to sufferer’s if eagle syndrome x
Hi
It was Mr Currie that spotted I had Eagles on an xray for another issue, mind you it was missed on previous xrays acfewcyesrs before. I was only their second ever patient with Eagles in his and his colleague’s 45 combined medical career. I have never looked back from having surgery (intraoral) and have not been back to a consultation since my last op in April 2015. So I’d highly recommend Mr Currie definitely.
Rhona (Rebecca)
Ohh thanks that’s great news I’m sure my doctor will refer me to him she’s great x
Hi delusive, I have been recommended th Mr Axon at Addenbrookes Cambridge.I did’nt have to wait long for an appointment and I am on his list for surgery.I have an mri next Wed.He is the first consultant to be positive with me and has done 200 or more ES surgery…Jan
Let us know when you get a date for surgery!
Does anyone know if Dr. Rogan does external & internal?
I’m really sorry, I can’t remember how he did surgery- he does do private work through Spire Healthcare, maybe you could get in touch with his secretary through that to see if he still does ES surgeries & which method? They might tell you without an appt?
ok thanks Jules
Hi Jules I got my CT’s Contrast scans now right side is 31mm/3.1cm Left side was 24mm/2,4 if measured correctly, it was not a positional CT it was lying flat so I do not fully know but feel I do have a compression
turning my head…I need someone to try to 3D these for me I tried to download the 3D online but would not work. Do you know anyone? I posted it with Isaiah the images Downloads on there thanks Aidan
Here’s a tutorial for getting images to 3D, if that helps:

ok thanks Jules
Made a mistake above on measurements was 31 & 34 not 24
@delusive hi and I hope you are doing ok?
Would you be comfortable sharing the name of the surgeon you saw in London? I’m calling round lots of surgeons trying to expand the list of options in the UK and it would be really helpful if you could
Sorry was not on here for some time he is ENT Surgeon Dr. Rupert Obholzer Guys Hospital London UK he is the Head of the Unit a very nice Man
Aidan, I’m sorry I can’t remember, did you have surgery with Dr Obholzer? It’d be great to get the name of another doctor to add to our list!
No, he refused me Surgery he does not think my symptoms are from Eagle Syndrome he thinks it is something else, he also said the same to my Friend she went to see him. The other Doctor is at Addenbrooke Hospital I think his name is Dr. Axon there are not many in the UK who do the procedure also he has long waiting lists so check with the Group on Facebook Eagle Syndrome UK xx Hope all is well with you thanks Jules xx I still think I will go see other Doctors for ES
@Aidan - try Mr.Hughes in London. We have some members who’ve seen him for surgery, & he is more proactive in being willing to treat ES. Mr.Axon is now more limited in doing ES surgery & has to be more selective about who he sees so is turning away more people w/ ES now.
Okay, not one to add to the list now! As @Isaiah_40_31 says, Mr Axon is doing less now, but good that we’ve been given Dr Hughes’ name as well!
ok thanks Isaiah, what is his first name & what hospital do you know?
