Was it difficult to get diagnosed?

@SwampFrolicker - The steroids & muscle relaxer would potentially reduce symptoms that are being caused by irritated nerves but they most likely won’t help with the vascular symptoms you’ve listed: dizziness, visual snow/blurring, brain fog, and ear fullness (head and neck pain, eyes getting more blurry, and more eye symptoms increasing over the past couple months (visual snow). These are more than likely caused by your jugular vein(s) being compressed.

If I were you, I’d get the naturopath to order the imaging you need STAT so you can get a proper diagnosis. It appears Dr. Patel doesn’t know the symptoms of vascular compression related to ES. It’s really something that needs to be diagnosed & treated sooner than later.

The internal jugular veins (IJVs) drain deoxygenated blood & toxins out of your brain. Your internal carotid arteries (ICAs) carry freshly oxygenated blood into your brain. When the IJVs aren’t fully open & able to drain the blood/toxins at the same rate the ICAs are carrying blood into the brain, a situation of intracranial hypertension (IH) occurs. It’s the high pressure in the brain due to IH that causes the symptoms I listed above which you have.

Sending your imaging to Dr. Osborne is a good idea, as @Jules mentioned. He charges $250 for a consult & you’ll be able to get an appointment fairly quickly because he prioritizes ES in his practice.
