Woo hoo! My daughter has an appointment with Dr. Nakaji in Arizona!

My daughter in Arizona had been shuffled around and dismissed by various doctors for months while suffering terrible symptoms. We learned of Dr. Nakaji, contacted his office and today we learned that he has reviewed her medical records and he has accepted her as a patient! It is an answer to prayer! He wants her to have a CTV and then see him later this month. From what I have read a CTV is not the venogram with a catheter through the groin by Dr. Mehta. I think that a CTV only requires an IV in the arm for dye and no sedation. If I am incorrect someone please correct me! Thank you!

You are correct about the CTV, @WorriedMom. It’s a much less invasive test than the venogram w/ manometry.

Thank you!

That’s great news! But I would check if you can get an answer from his office exactly about the testing as he usually does require a CT venogram with pressure manometry, we’ve had a few discussions about this and it’s confusing that the same term is used!
