If anyone wants to take a look. My Dicom Library links are dead and it takes forever to upload images to them (hours), so I shared links (zipped images) to the anonymized files below. They all should be w w/o contrast. The CT Styloids is much easier and quicker to build 3d image. I am having trouble with CT Angiography getting the head restraint and artifacts out of the way to see the reconstruction better. I am disappointed that styloids are still 2 cm after resection, but I did not have any nerve issues after the surgery at least and it has improved swallowing, ear pain, throat pain. I have no graphics card in this PC, so it taxes it a little bit when they put 500 images like they did for the Angiography. Clearly, they just cared about carotids basically in that one. I told them I was hoping to rule out Internal Jugular Vein Compression, but they wouldn’t order the CT Venography for discerning that information. See links below.
Edited: Removed zip files and just put link to folder with the images and fixed one bad link:
Anonymized_CTA-05042026 - pCloud for the CT Angiography (after styloidectomy)
*cannot get old images to post properly to pcloud for sharing (need to investigate this more)…
I added a photo that shows the transverse process and nearby vessels and styloids. It is hard to believe that could be normal so many things competing for space in that area. I hope the image is deceiving me. Definitely still feel lightheaded when turning my head to right or left side for more than a few seconds, so we shall see what is going on there eventually.
